The Clerk to the National Assembly Alhaji Sani Tambuwal has inaugurated the Central Planning Committee of the National Assembly that would welcome members-elect in the 10th National Assembly.
While inaugurating the committee on Monday at the National Assembly Complex, Alhaji Tambuwal stated that the mandate of the Committee is to organise induction programme for members-elect in the 10th National Assembly.
According to the Acting CNA, the committee which is chaired by the Acting Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Barr. Kamoru Ogunlana comprises all the heads of directorates in the National Assembly. Other members include 9 Management staff of NILDS and 2 representatives from the National Assembly Service Commission.
Shortly after the inauguration of the committee by the Acting CNA, the committee had its inaugural meeting to define and adopt a work plan among others.
Also inaugurated at the same occasion is the Committee on Severance Allowance for lawmakers/ legislative Aides.
