Jide Akinyemi Foundation Extends Empowerment Efforts to Ekiti
In a world where collective progress relies on the strength of our shared endeavors, the Jide Akinyemi Foundation is leading the way in transformative giving. Recently, the foundation expanded its reach to Ekiti with a two-day event titled the Ekiti Empowerment Program, held from Friday, July 26, to Saturday, July 27.
During the event, the foundation distributed farm pumps and reflective jackets to the communities of Ikole, Oye, Ilejemeje, Moba, Ido Osi, and Ado. The farm pumps are intended to enhance irrigation and agricultural productivity, while the reflective jackets are designed to improve the safety of local farmers working under various conditions.
This initiative underscores the Jide Akinyemi Foundation’s ongoing dedication to supporting local development and fostering sustainable growth in Ekiti.
Jide Akinyemi, the foundation’s founder, a philanthropist, and entrepreneur, remarked, “We are delighted to have distributed farm pumps and reflective jackets to five communities in Ekiti: Ikole, Oye, Ilejemeje, Moba, Ido Osi, and Ado. This initiative reflects our commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity and ensuring the safety of local farmers. By providing these essential tools, we aim to support economic growth and improve livelihoods in these communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the prosperity of Ekiti and look forward to continued positive impact in the State.”
