2027: Abia Forum Appeals To NDC NEC To issue its State House Of assembly Ticket To Hon Dimgba Joseph

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) has appealed to the national working committee of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to issue its state house of assembly ticket to Hon Chief Dimgba Okwudiri Joseph.

The pro-democracy group described Hon Dimgba Joseph as the best man to secure total victory for NDC in the forthcoming elections and effectively represent the people of Isiuakwato constituency at Abia State House of Assembly.

The appeal by the Abia forum was contained in a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja.

The statement was jointly signed by Surveyor Samuel Aguiyi and Amb Chinedu Emeruwa respectively.

The forum noted that its appeal comes on the heels of the overwhelming support and widespread acceptance of Hon Chief Dimgba Joseph among majority of party members and the electorates during the recently-conducted house of assembly primary election held for Isiuakwato state constituency seat.

“According to the non-governmental body, “Aside from the widespread acceptance among the electorates in Isiuakwato local government area, Hon Chief Dimgba Joseph has remained committed to public service and also dedicated to the advancement of democratic values in Abia state and larger Nigeria.

The forum noted that Hon Dimgba Joseph has continuously demonstrated his desire to contribute to societal building and development, having chaired and coordinated professional bodies effectively and efficiently.

The forum noted that Hon Chief Dimgba Joseph has remained a defender of justice and advocate for the rights and welfare of average Nigerians.

“The confidence and widespread acceptance he enjoys among the electorates in Isiuakwato constituency will turn into electoral victory for NDC in the coming general election come next year.

Forum of Abia Democrats (FABD) therefore urged the national leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to consider competence, grassroots acceptance, and zoning principle in making its final decision on the state house of assembly ticket.

The pan-Abia socio-political body pledged to deliver bulk votes to NDC to ensure the victory  and emergence of Hon Dimgba Joseph as lawmaker representing Isiuakwato constituency at the Abia hallowed legislative chamber come next year’s elections in the state.
