Adebutu Only Candidate Capable of Delivering True Dividends of Democracy to Ogun People – Toyin Amuzu
The House of Representatives candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Toyin Amuzu, has declared that the party’s governorship candidate in Ogun State, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, remains the only candidate with the vision, competence and commitment to deliver the true dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
Amuzu made the declaration while addressing party supporters and residents, urging the electorate to support the PDP governorship ticket of Adebutu and his running mate, Alhaja Yemi Kolapo-Showunmi, in the forthcoming election.
According to him, the Adebutu-led administration would prioritize sectors that directly impact the welfare and prosperity of the people, including education, infrastructure, economic development and agriculture.
He stated that quality education would receive adequate attention through improved funding, better learning facilities and policies aimed at expanding access to quality education across the state.
The PDP House of Representatives candidate also emphasized that infrastructure development would be one of the cornerstones of the proposed administration, noting that investments in road construction, rural electrification, healthcare facilities and other public infrastructure would stimulate economic activities and improve the standard of living of residents.
Speaking on economic development, Amuzu said Adebutu possesses a practical blueprint for creating employment opportunities, empowering young entrepreneurs and supporting small and medium-scale enterprises through policies designed to boost productivity and attract investments into Ogun State.
He further noted that agriculture would receive significant attention under the PDP government, with farmers expected to benefit from accessible loans, improved access to farming inputs, modern agricultural techniques and continuous government support to enhance food production and strengthen the state’s economy.
According to him, providing financial assistance and necessary support to farmers would not only improve agricultural output but also create sustainable livelihoods for rural communities and contribute to food security.
Amuzu described Adebutu as a compassionate and people-oriented leader with a proven record of philanthropy and commitment to public service, expressing confidence that his administration would ensure inclusive governance and equitable distribution of developmental projects across the state.
He also commended the choice of Alhaja Yemi Kolapo-Showunmi as deputy governorship candidate, describing her as an experienced administrator whose wealth of experience would complement Adebutu’s vision for a more prosperous Ogun State.
The lawmaker hopeful therefore appealed to followers and party faithfuls to provide adequate supports, insisting that the party offers the most credible platform to reposition the state for sustainable growth and development.
Amuzu expressed optimism that, with the support of the electorate, the PDP would usher in a new era of accountable governance, improved public service delivery and accelerated socio-economic development for the benefit of all residents of Ogun State.
