2026 Will Bring Greater Opportunities – IWA

The Honourable Member representing Abeokuta South State Constituency II at the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele (IWA), has extended heartfelt New Year greetings to his constituents and the good people of Ogun State as the year 2026 begins.
In his New Year message, Hon. Igbalaye expressed deep gratitude to God Almighty for the gift of life, protection and strength granted to the people throughout the past year, despite prevailing economic and social challenges. He described 2026 as a year filled with renewed hope, opportunities and divine favour.
The lawmaker prayed that the new year would usher in peace, good health, economic stability and increased prosperity for families, youths, artisans, traders and professionals across Abeokuta South Constituency II. He also called for divine wisdom for leaders at all levels to make decisions that would positively impact the lives of citizens.
Hon. Igbalaye urged residents to remain united, law-abiding and committed to the growth and development of their communities, stressing that meaningful progress can only be achieved through collective responsibility and cooperation among the people.
Reaffirming his commitment to effective representation, the lawmaker pledged to intensify his legislative efforts towards people-oriented policies, improved infrastructure, youth empowerment, quality education and enhanced social welfare for his constituency.
He also commended the Ogun State Government for its developmental strides and appealed to residents to continue supporting government initiatives aimed at promoting economic growth, security and social well-being across the state.
“Together, with faith, patience and unity of purpose, we will build a stronger Abeokuta South and a more prosperous Ogun State,” Hon. Igbalaye said.
He concluded by praying for lasting peace, security and divine protection over Abeokuta South Constituency II, Ogun State and Nigeria throughout the year 2026.
