2027: Ogunjimi Predicts Landslide Victory for Tinubu, Urges APC Unity

The Legal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda Diaspora, Barrister George Bamidele Olufemi Ogunjimi, who holds the title of Bamofin of Ojo, Lagos State, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure re-election in 2027 with a wide margin, insisting that no opposition candidate has what it takes to defeat him.

Ogunjimi called on members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), both in Nigeria and the diaspora, to close ranks, intensify grassroots mobilisation and work collectively towards Tinubu’s re-election.

He maintained that the President remained the most suitable candidate to lead Nigeria, arguing that the administration’s reform-driven approach and policy direction offered the country a better opportunity for sustainable economic growth and national transformation.

According to him, the Tinubu administration has demonstrated the political will to confront longstanding economic challenges through reforms aimed at repositioning the economy, strengthening public revenue and creating a foundation for long-term development.

He noted that although some of the reforms have come with difficult adjustments, their intended benefits would require consistency, patience and sustained commitment to become fully realised.

Ogunjimi further argued that the opposition parties had yet to present a convincing alternative capable of matching the President’s policy direction and development agenda.

“President Tinubu remains the answer to Nigeria’s quest for meaningful transformation.

The opposition has not demonstrated that it possesses the vision, capacity and experience required to take the country forward. I am confident that Nigerians will renew his mandate in 2027 with a wide margin,” he said.

The legal practitioner speaking to us in his Ikeja office after meeting with APC stakeholders in Oriade, Satellite Town, Ojo Town and Ajangbadi urged APC stakeholders, political leaders and supporters across the country and in the diaspora to put aside personal interests and differences and unite behind the President’s second-term ambition.

He stressed that effective mobilisation, public engagement and consistent communication of the administration’s policies and achievements would be crucial to securing victory at the polls.

Ogunjimi reaffirmed the commitment of the Renewed Hope Agenda Diaspora to mobilising support for Tinubu’s re-election, expressing optimism that the President would receive another mandate to consolidate ongoing reforms and advance Nigeria’s development.
