2027: Yayi Endorses Ogun State Pathfinders, Integrates Group into Campaign Team
All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), has endorsed the Ogun State Pathfinders a civic platform committed to promoting good governance, sustainable development and leadership excellence in Ogun State and pledged to integrate the group into his campaign structure ahead of the 2027 election.
The endorsement came on Friday, July 31, when members of the association paid a courtesy visit to the senator’s Ilaro residence.
During the meeting, Senator Adeola approved the association’s campaign identity, including its branded T-shirts, Logo and Campaign Song, describing the initiative as a commendable contribution to grassroots mobilisation and public engagement.
The senator expressed appreciation for the group’s sustained public enlightenment and voter awareness activities across Ogun State, assuring members that their commitment to promoting civic participation and good governance would not go unnoticed.
As part of efforts to strengthen collaboration, Adeola announced that the Ogun State Pathfinders would be formally integrated into his campaign team.
He also specially commended the Convener of the association, Comrade Kayode S. Agbeyangi, who is the National Secretary of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), for providing leadership and mobilising support for the movement.
The Ogun State Pathfinders is a visionary platform dedicated to promoting good governance, sustainable development, leadership excellence and the socio-economic advancement of Ogun State and its people.
While non-governmental in its outlook, the platform has resolved to mobilise voters and deepen grassroots support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola’s governorship ambition ahead of the 2027 Ogun State election.
It draws its membership from the three senatorial districts of the state and is committed to encouraging active citizen participation in governance and democratic development.
