APC Appoints Ayoade Oluwaferanmi Busayo to New Media Directorate of PBAT/KOH 2027 Lagos Campaign




The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed media professional and entrepreneur, Ayoade Oluwaferanmi Busayo, as a member of the New Media Directorate of the PBAT/KOH 2027 Lagos State Campaign Council.


Ayoade Oluwaferanmi, who has over eight years of experience as a reporter and photojournalist with City People Magazine, also worked with GoldMyne TV for more than three years before establishing her own media platform, BigAppleTV, where she currently serves as Chief Executive Officer.



Reacting to the appointment, Ayoade Oluwaferanmi expressed appreciation to the leadership of the 2027 APC Campaign Council and the Directorate of New Media for the confidence reposed in her.



She described the appointment as both an honour and a responsibility, pledging to bring her experience, creativity and professional skills to bear in the discharge of her duties.


According to her, the New Media Directorate has an important role to play in strategic communication, digital engagement, effective information dissemination and media publicity, particularly in reaching citizens through various digital platforms.


She said she looked forward to working with other members of the campaign council in communicating the vision of the APC’s Lagos State governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and his running mate, Princess Damilola Sonayon-James, ahead of the 2027 election.


Ayoade Oluwaferanmi said she accepted the responsibility with humility and a strong sense of duty, assuring that she would discharge her assignment with diligence, dedication, professionalism and integrity.



She also expressed optimism that the campaign team would receive the wisdom, strength and grace required to effectively carry out its responsibilities.


She wished the campaign council success in its engagements ahead of the 2027 election and prayed for the continued development of Lagos State and Nigeria.
