Easter Kindness: Hon. Jide Olurankinse Distributes Rice To Widows In Idanre
In the spirit of Easter and community solidarity, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Jide Olurankise, extended a warm gesture of love by distributing bags of rice to widows in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The distribution took place on Friday at Hon. Olurankinse’s family residence on Broad Street, Idanre. The initiative was aimed at supporting vulnerable members of the community during the Easter celebrations and easing the burden of food insecurity among widows.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Olurankinse emphasized the importance of sharing and showing compassion, especially during festive periods. “This is a time of celebration, reflection, and love. We must look out for one another and ensure that no one is left behind, especially our widows who continue to carry the weight of family and community responsibilities,” he said.
