Kuje Detention: VeryDarkMan Fires Back At Sowore, Warns Against Unauthorised Use Of Name
Controversial social commentator, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has publicly addressed human rights activist and publisher, Omoyele Sowore, over what he described as a disagreement surrounding the Blord matter.
In a strongly worded statement made available to Newsextra, VeryDarkMan expressed disappointment that Sowore allegedly chose to escalate the issue publicly instead of reaching out to him privately.
According to him, out of respect for Sowore, he would have been open to a discussion if contacted directly. However, he alleged that Sowore opted to “test strength” rather than seek dialogue.
VeryDarkMan further warned that he would not tolerate the use of his name or image to promote any cause or business without his consent. He stressed that any such action would attract legal consequences.
Addressing the broader issue of justice and influence, VeryDarkMan stated that in a country where wealth and connections are often perceived to influence legal outcomes, he considers it significant that an individual widely regarded as powerful and well-connected was remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre.
He described the development as a testament to the power of knowledge and persistence, maintaining that accountability should not be selective or reserved only for the less privileged.
