Gov Yusuf urges APC members to reconcile ahead of 2027 elections
Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state to embrace reconciliation and unity ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor also called on party members to respect the party’s rules and work together to ensure its success in the forthcoming elections.
Yusuf made the appeal through his representative, Muhammad Yusuf Jamu, who spoke at the inauguration of the Tarauni Local Government coordinators for the presidential, governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly campaigns in Kano on Wednesday.
The governor said he was pleased with the efforts being made by party members towards reconciliation and strengthening the party at the local government and federal constituency levels.
“I am happy with the messages of commitment, unity and reconciliation towards the success of our party, which have been taking place across the local governments and federal constituencies.
“I urge you to continue on this path of reconciliation and strictly adhere to the rules of the game. We have the best candidates to present to the people,” he said.
