Hon. Alimi Oluwaremilekun Donates Solar Power System To o Ijebu East Constituency, Reaffirms Commitment To Grassroots Development

As part of his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and community empowerment, Hon. Alimi Oluwaremilekun, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Ijebu East Local Government, has donated a solar power system to his constituency.

The donation, made today, Monday, November 15, 2021, marks another step in Hon. Oluwaremilekun’s pledge to improve the standard of living and promote infrastructural development within the Ijebu East community. The solar system, which was installed in a strategic public space, aims to enhance access to clean and sustainable energy for the people, especially at night.

Speaking during the donation ceremony, Hon. Oluwaremilekun described the gesture as a reflection of the kind of leadership he hopes to provide if elected into office.

“This is not just a campaign promise it is a demonstration of the type of representation I will bring to the House of Assembly. I believe in practical solutions to our everyday challenges, and energy is one of them. My people deserve development, and I will continue to give my best to serve and support them,” he stated.



The initiative was widely applauded by community members, youth leaders, and party stakeholders present at the event. They described the donation as timely and impactful, especially in light of ongoing power supply challenges in the area.

Hon. Oluwaremilekun reiterated that the solar project is only a glimpse of his broader developmental agenda which includes improved access to education, healthcare, agricultural support, youth empowerment, and infrastructural upgrades.

With the 2023 elections fast approaching, the PDP aspirant urged constituents to support his ambition to bring progressive change and credible representation to Ijebu East in the Ogun State House of Assembly.

“Together, we can build a better Ijebu East. I am here to serve, and this is only the beginning,” he concluded.
