Hon. Olujide Olurankinse Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Maulud Celebration
Honourable Olujide Olurankinse, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart and aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency in the forthcoming elections, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud.
Eid-el-Maulud, also known as Maolud Nabbiy, is the annual commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). It is a period marked by reflection on the Prophet’s teachings of love, peace, tolerance, humility, and devotion to God.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Olurankinse urged Muslims across Ondo State and Nigeria at large to use the season as an opportunity to deepen their faith and commitment to the values that the Prophet stood for.
“I felicitate with all our Muslim brothers and sisters on this year’s celebration of Maolud Nabbiy. It is a moment to remember the exemplary life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who preached peace, justice, and unity. At a time when our nation seeks greater cohesion, I urge all Nigerians to embrace these values for the progress of our communities and our country,” he said.
He further called for prayers for the peace, stability, and prosperity of Ondo State and Nigeria, adding that the virtues of patience, compassion, and selflessness demonstrated by the Prophet should guide citizens in their daily lives.
Hon. Olurankinse reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, pledging that his aspiration to represent them at the House of Representatives is rooted in the desire to bring inclusive development, empowerment, and progress to the constituency.
“As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, let us remember that the strength of our nation lies in our unity and respect for our diverse faiths. Together, we can build a better future,” he added.
