IG Egbetokun Appoints  Hundeyin As New Force PRO

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the appointment of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).

CSP Hundeyin takes over from DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who has been redeployed to head another strategic assignment within the Nigeria Police Force.

Hundeyin, a seasoned officer with years of experience in public relations and law enforcement, previously served as the Police Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Command, where he earned public recognition for his professionalism and media engagement.

The IGP, in announcing the appointment, urged Hundeyin to leverage his wealth of experience to strengthen the relationship between the police and members of the public, while projecting the image of the Force in line with global standards of policing.

The new Force PRO is expected to continue the reforms in strategic communication, enhance transparency, and deepen citizens’ trust in the Nigeria Police Force through timely and factual information dissemination.
