Prince Taofeeq Fatai Felicitates With Iresa-Adu, Surulere LGA, And Nigerians On The Joyous Occasion Of Ileya Festival

As Muslims across the globe prepare to mark the sacred Ileya Festival (Eid al-Adha), Prince Taofeeq Fatai Adeyemi Adeleke extends heartfelt felicitations to the good people of Iresa-Adu, the residents of Surulere Local Government Area, the entirety of Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.

In his goodwill message, Prince Adeleke emphasized the essence of the festival as a time of faith, unity, peaceful coexistence, and community development. He lauded the people of Iresa-Adu for their continued commitment to peace and progress.

“I am deeply honored to celebrate this season with the great people of Iresa-Adu. I specially rejoice with and appreciate the Mogaji of Oshunbiyi and Emiolu Ruling House, all the princes, princesses, and the Afobajes—the custodians of our dear kingdom—for their unrelenting efforts in maintaining the harmony of Iresa-Adu.”



Prince Adeleke urged all indigenes and residents to continue to uphold peace and order wherever they reside, and to keep Iresa-Adu Kingdom in their prayers.

“Let us pray to Almighty Allah to bless our kingdom with a vibrant, competent, credible, progressive, and God-fearing King before the month runs out, Insha Allah. Ameen.”



The Prince also used the opportunity to appreciate notable public servants and leaders, including the Chairman of Surulere LGA, Hon. Isiah Adegbite Alaba, and the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, whom he described as a dynamic reformer and a progressive force in the state.

“May this celebration bring peace, prosperity, and renewed unity to our community, Surulere, Oyo State, and our nation as a whole. As we observe the Ileya Festival, may we reflect on its core values—compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude—and may our prayers and sacrifices be accepted by Allah.”
