Skit Maker Sanku Dies In Fatal Car Accident On Ogbomoso Road
Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Sanku, has passed away after a ghastly motor accident along Ogbomoso Road in Oyo State.
The crash occurred in the early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025, leaving several passengers injured. Reports indicate that Sanku and another victim sustained critical injuries, but the comedian was later confirmed dead at the hospital.
The heartbreaking news was first shared by fellow skit maker, Ozain Comedy, who posted on his Instagram story: “Rest well, soldier.” Influencer Jidex also took to TikTok with a tribute captioned, “Rest in peace.”
Sanku, who launched his comedy career in 2021, rose to fame in 2024 through his unique style and originality, amassing over one million TikTok followers.
Since confirmation of his death, fans, colleagues, and influencers have flooded social media platforms such as X, TikTok, and Instagram with emotional tributes celebrating his short but impactful career.
