Spain were crowned champions of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating defending champions Argentina 1-0 in a gripping final that was decided in extra time at the iconic New York New Jersey Stadium (MetLife Stadium) on Sunday.
In what will be remembered as one of the finest World Cup finals in recent history, both sides produced an enthralling display of attacking football, tactical discipline and resilience.
