Tinubu Inaugurates RMAFC, NPC Commissioners as FEC Meeting Resumes

President Bola Tinubu on Monday presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, marking the council’s first session in more than two months.


Before the commencement of the meeting, the President administered the oath of office to two newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). The commissioners are Amina Gamawa, representing Bauchi State, and Abdullahi Mukhtar, representing Kaduna State.


The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, disclosed that the agenda for the meeting also included the swearing-in of newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC).

The meeting was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, cabinet ministers, and other top government officials.
Further details of the council’s deliberations are expected to be made public after the meeting.
