Yayi’s 102 Transformers Come With FREE Installation – No Kobo From Communities

By Adeyemi Obadimu

The office of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) has debunked recent rumours making the rounds on social media regarding alleged payments for the installation of 102 transformers donated to local communities in Ogun State.

In a statement issued and posted on his Facebook page by his Special Assistant on New Media, Omooba Damilare Oloyede, the Senator made it clear that the entire process  from transportation to installation and energization  is fully funded and comes at absolutely no cost to the benefiting communities.

“This gesture is a genuine effort aimed at improving the lives of the people of Ogun State, with no financial burden placed on them. Anyone caught demanding money or bribes in connection with these installations should be reported immediately to law enforcement and to the Senator’s office for swift action,” Oloyede said.

He further noted that the rumour peddlers behind the misinformation are well known and will soon be invited to provide proof of their claims. “The unregulated nature of social media should not be a reason for individuals to keep dancing naked in the marketplace unchecked,” he stated.

Senator Adeola reiterated his commitment to transparency, accountability, and community development, assuring residents that the transformer installations are a significant step towards boosting infrastructure and ensuring reliable electricity supply in the region.
