Ondo APC Youth Coalition Backs Dayo Israel, Rejects No-Confidence Vote
The Coalition of APC Youth Wings in Ondo State has thrown its support behind Dayo Israel, the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), firmly rejecting a recent no-confidence vote against him.
The coalition, which encompasses various youth groups, commended Israel for his leadership, highlighting improvements in organization and national visibility for the party’s youth wing.

In a statement following an emergency meeting in Akure, Success Adeniken, the coalition’s National Coordinator, clarified that the dissenting vote did not represent the majority opinion of APC youths in the state.
“We categorically dissociate the entire APC youth structure in Ondo State from any purported vote of no confidence against Dr. Dayo Israel,” the statement read.
The coalition praised Israel as a source of inspiration and strategic guidance for young party members across the country, affirming their unwavering support for his leadership.
In contrast, the coalition expressed dissatisfaction with the state youth leader, Opeyemi Adedeji, issuing a no-confidence vote against him.
They criticized Adedeji for acting without proper mandate or consultation in facilitating the earlier vote against Israel.
The coalition called for Adedeji’s suspension and the appointment of an acting state youth leader to restore order.
They urged APC youth wings in other states to uphold internal democracy and hold accountable those who destabilize the party for personal gain.
Reiterating their commitment to the APC’s unity and electoral success, the coalition vowed to oppose any actions that threaten the party’s stability.
