Moremi Ojudu Presents South West Community Engagement Report To President Tinubu, Reaffirms Commitment To Grassroots Development

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (South West), Moremi Ojudu, has reaffirmed her dedication to deepening citizen inclusion and strengthening grassroots participation in governance under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ojudu, alongside her colleagues from other regions, had the honour of presenting her regional report to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, where she highlighted the progress, challenges, and success stories from her ongoing engagements across the South West.
In her presentation, Ojudu underscored the need for sustained collaboration between government and local communities, particularly in reaching the vulnerable and underrepresented groups whose voices often go unheard. She emphasized that meaningful governance must begin from the grassroots, aligning with President Tinubu’s vision of inclusivity, empowerment, and shared prosperity.
“Our work in the South West has been focused on deepening trust between the government and the people, promoting inclusion, and ensuring that the Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a policy statement but a lived reality for ordinary Nigerians,” Ojudu said.
Since her appointment, Moremi Ojudu has embarked on extensive community outreach across all six states of the South West, fostering dialogue with traditional rulers, youth groups, women leaders, market associations, religious bodies, and persons with disabilities. Her office has been instrumental in amplifying government initiatives on poverty alleviation, small business support, education, and social welfare.
Her report also outlined key recommendations to further bridge the gap between government and citizens through more accessible communication channels, empowerment programs for the unemployed, and increased partnership with community-based organisations.
President Tinubu, while commending the efforts of the SSA and her colleagues, reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring that every Nigerian, regardless of status or location, feels the impact of good governance under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The meeting, which brought together all regional SSAs on Community Engagement, reflected the administration’s strategic focus on inclusive governance, citizen feedback, and continuous collaboration between government and the people it serves.
With her growing influence and strong grassroots connection, Moremi Ojudu continues to stand out as one of the administration’s most active advocates of people-centred governance in the South West, driving community inclusion and giving ordinary Nigerians a stronger voice in national development.
